It’s no secret that Spain is in a bad economic situation. Unemployment was at 26% in June, according to the Economist, and the homeless population in Barcelona alone was over 3,000 in 2011. Tourism, however, continues to flourish and Barcelona is the fourth most visited city in Europe.
