Pacha is located close to Ibiza Town, with taxis costing approximately €10 from the town centre. Buses also run regularly. #2: Privilege (Vista club)
Dance Floor and Swimming Pool at Privilege Nightclub, Ibiza
Privilege is, according to the Guinness Book of Records, the largest nightclub in the world. Particularly popular amongst British party-goers, the venue attracts up to 10,000 people through its doors every night. The quirky layout, including a heated swimming pool in the main arena, as well as its host of DJ’s, dancers and acrobats, offers a truly unique and unforgettable clubbing experience. Privilege is located in the San Rafael area, with the night again kicking off at midnight. Tickets are a little on the pricey side at €50, and are often dearer on the door. So make sure you buy early!
Located in the quieter town of Santa Eualalia, Guarana bar offers a more chilled night out to the sometimes overwhelming club scenes found in areas such as Ibiza Town and San Antonio. With a wide variety of music on show, from rock to live jazz, its stunning marina-front location and opening hours until 6am, you’ll definitely not be disappointed by this alternative (by Ibiza’s standards) club night.
#4: Es Paradis
Again one of the oldest nightclubs on the island having opened its doors in 1975, the Es Paradis venue is characterised by its huge tin pyramid roof, while the decor inside is as equally spectacular. The club has 4 VIP areas, 3 bars and 3 dance floors… enough to keep the whole gang happy and partying long in to the night. Es Paradis is most famed for its ‘Fiesta del Agua’ (Water Party), held each Monday and Friday throughout the party season. Located in the Sant Antoni, ticket prices for the Fiesta del Agua in 2013 were €34, so expect something similar in 2014.
Guarana Bar, Ibiza
Despite the name, a night at Amnesia is certainly not one you’ll forget in hurry. Winner of the Best Global Club on three occasions, the club can found in the San Antonio Road, less than a kilometre away from Privilege. Indeed both clubs are famous for their sunrise dance floors, having both originally been outdoor venues. The most popular nights at Amnesia are their Thursday ‘Cream’ parties, with a 5000 strong crowd packing out the 2 main dance floors. Given its unique ‘Expanded Amnesia Technology’ sound system, a night here is an absolute must for techno, trance and house fans. General admission price is €50, though you can experience some VIP treatment for an extra €25.
Also a three time winner of the ‘Best Global Club’, Space nightclub brings a whole different clubbing experience not found anywhere else in the world. Found in Playa d’en Bossa on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, Space is infamous for its ‘We Love…’ party held every Sunday, with doors opening as early as 4:30pm and running right through until 6am. Said to be home to the island’s best electronic music, the club sports 5 different club rooms, guaranteed to have you dancing the night away. The first ‘We Love…’ party traditionally opens up the party season, so if you’re fortunate enough to arrive early on the island, there’s only one place to be…
Having been completely renovated; structurally, aesthetically and musically, by its new owners in time for the 2013 season, Eden is now the second ‘superclub’ in the San Antonio area. Previously hosting sets from music powerhouses such as Faithless and Lady Gaga in the past, 2014 is sure to see Eden reborn as one of the island’s most popular clubs once more. Its new one giant club room, Garden of Eden themed decor and state of the art sound system are just some of the features that lie within… Not to be missed! Given the scale of the place and when compared to other venues, tickets are priced at a very reasonable €32. Unlike most clubs however, Eden does enforce a fairly strict dress code… so no turning up in your beach wear!
