Looking for a one-day destination that will give you an antioxidant boost? You’ll have to travel to the town of Buñol, Spain tomorrow to make it happen. Every year, on the last Wednesday of August, the town stages La Tomatina, a tomato-fighting festival.

Last year about 40,000 participated in the festival from all over the world. Approximately 120 tons of tomatoes were used in the safe, but highly acidic attack. Just a bit of advice to those that are attending or will in the future–goggles might be advisable to prevent the burn from flying tomato juice.
